Lately I got very interested in visual effect and motion graphic works. So instead of watching and enjoying alone, I've decided to compile and share a short list of stunning videos to inspire all of you. I've posted some of them before, but I don't think anyone minds watching them again.

Share some cool & awesome videos. :)

Hezarfen has really nice character, props and sets designs. I like the style so much. Hope to do something like this for my final project.

Pivot plays with low polygon designs. Unique and excellent story and visuals. 

Has some really awesome visual effects as well.

Time Warp Project is a cool video with live action + CG. Can watch over and over again.

Today Only is a really nice piece of animation. Characters are so lively and vivid.

114.psd Type is a creative typography work. Nice rhythm  as well. :P

More Vids.

1. Sometimes the Stars is a really beautiful piece of animation. Very good 2D animation and Effects. Excellent Music as well.

2. One Minute Puberty is a very creative and crazy animation. Full of energy despite just simple line drawings and without colors.

3. 30 motion test in 30s will be something i will like to do as well. The artist is good at pushing himself to get something done. 

4,5. The last 2 are stunning visual effect pieces. I'm starting to learn VFX, so I pay extra attention to these excellent works.

Some vids i came across these 2 days.

The first one is a creative music video using the flip book idea. I believe everyone of us tried it at least once during our childhood on a dictionary or your textbook, its animation!

The second one is a Levi's stop-motion advertisement.

And last but not least is a cool experimental visual effect piece. Something i would like to try out one day.

Daily Inspiration #1

Football and Animation.

2 of my favourite things combined together and you get a beautiful piece of art.

Created by artist Richard Swarbrick, this piece of animation relives Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale's memorable Champions League performances against Inter Milan last year.

Not that I am a Bale fan, but his performance that day was truly stunning and world class.

The artist rotoscoped all the players with loosely strokes using just white and blue. Simple and beautiful.

Well, football is also Art.
