Metal Stargazer and Interview @ THEM.SG

Been busy lately - No time to post new stuffs. :(

Metal Stargazer

Recently I'm involved in a local event organized by THEM.sg - call Metal Stargazer.
It is gonna be held at Zouk on 29th July.
As the name tells, it's a metal genre thing. Not really my cup if tea, but I'm  pretty sure its gonna be a great experience.
The event is curated by Alvin Tan from the renowned Phunkstudio, and will feature many metal inspired music and art from some of the best locally based artist.

I am working on one of the videos for the local band I Am David Sparkle. They will be performing a whole list of songs on the night. If you happened to be there, then just keep a look out for the song I worked on titled Bad Corpse.

I am sooo looking forward to the event and I hope I can meet many great designers and artists!

I've just received my invite, which is a super cool 12" vinyl. I'll post more pics when I have the time to take some pictures of it. Here's a tease first!

Interview @ THEM.SG

And because of this event, I did a short interview with THEM.SG.
It's pretty silly actually, I meant my answers. Oh and look out for the Star Wars references!

Girl Power 02

I've been so busy these couple of weeks, hence the lack of posts.
Anyway, here is the next Sucker Punch lady on my team list - The Fighter.
She doesn't rely on any tricks or weapons, her fists does all the talking!

Girl Power 01

Have you guys watched Sucker Punch?
It's a pretty fun and entertaining movie. I really like the different themes and the visuals presented in the movie. There are samurais, ninjas, robots, machines, jet fighters and lots of explosions. What else can you ask for??
The music soundtracks are great as well and most importantly the chicks are hot. :D
Credit to Zack Snyder and his visual team, they did a very good job in creating the worlds and designing the characters.
As you probably would have expected, the story isn't that great. But honestly speaking, I doubt anyone will go into the theaters hoping to find some genius plots or some excellent script writing unless you totally have no idea what the movie is about(It is about chicks in actions!) or who the director is.

Anyway, if you have a team of girls what would they look like?

Here is my own depiction, I will post them up each individually.
Since I'm bad at naming my characters, I'll just call the first one-

The Pirate

More to come~
