Rube Goldberg Machine

I'm sure many of you know what a Rube Goldberg machine is and I'm sure all of you find it so fascinating and interesting.
So, I shall share some awesome videos!!

It all started with this video isn't it?
The Way Things Go is an experimental art film created in 1987 by Peter Fischli and David Weiss.
The entire film is around 30 mins long, and is possibly one of the longest Rube Goldberg machine I've seen.
I can't find the entire version online, so you may have to make do with this 3 min shrink version, or get the dvd to watch the full 30 mins.

This Too Shall Pass is a recently music video by the OK GO. It's one of my favorite music video!

"Cog" is a advertisement launch by Honda to promote one of their cars.
It is produced by Wieden+Kennedy, one of the popular US ad agency.

School Of Athens

This is an old piece of work done in 2009.
I tried recreate an old master drawing, which I took on Raphael's famous 'The School Of Athens' in a futuristic theme.

It was drawn on an A1 paper, which is super large to draw on, especially for the architecture part of the background. I remembered I had to self-create a large compass to draw the huge arc across the A1 paper.
In the end I scanned it through an A3 scanner on parts and merged them horribly on Photoshop.

In Your Arms

You've got to watch this!
In Your Arms is a new single by the lovely Kina Grannis, and the music video is a stop motion animation done with 288,000 Jelly Bellys jelly beans! Yummy!

This 3 minute music video is a beautifully executed piece of art and it took 22 months, 1,357 hours and 30 people to complete. It has awesomeness to the max! And I have to mention the 288,000 jelly beans again!

Kina Grannis has a really nice voice and she is one of the few youtube artist I enjoy listening to.
Check out her channel as well. http://www.youtube.com/user/kinagrannis

And take a look at the behind the scenes to see how this crazy project was initiated and created. You won't believe all the trouble and work they went through for just a music video!
